Nanning is just a transitional city for my National evasion, so i didn't bother to google the trip in Nanning, but things turned out, just fine. First impression of Nanning is the sunshine, though i have no chance to expose under the fierce sun-ray when i arrived at the city, but judging by the colour of its people, that way of bronze reminds me the necessity to wear sun glasses, apply sun screen during the following trip. PS, one thing you should know, the airport express is not as comfortable as in Guangzhou. Whoever told me Guangxi is a less develped city is definitely wrong, even i have similar feeling when i got the central area of Nanning(get there by bus 22, to the Nanning shopping mall), exactly the place the hotel waitress tole us. No high shopping malls, resteraunts with air-conditioning. When we are really starving, one girl pinted to a smaller alley where we can find food, sure there are local specialties all around the places, everybody need to elbow in and out of the place. We finally finish first supper out with a bowl of spicy pho, so call Luo Si Fen. dilicious but not really my favour. the night market in Zhongshan road is a surprise, no need to mention those abundant choices of sea food, and really attractive fruits, show you a pic, you will like to try all those snacks, it's a pity both of us have been filled with cheap pho dined at a extremely crude diner. Luckily, neither of us suffered stomachache, really strange, hah?! Anyway, as our real journey is yet to start from tomorrow morning, a seven and a half bus trip to Ha noi, i will give the PC to Crystal now... PS again, good that this economic hotel has PC, or i will never remember the songs we are listening tonight, the significance of travel, classy isn't it... and PS again, next time i go to Nanning, i will hold a empty stomach till i reach Zhongshan road, the night market really impressed me. Nanning, Good night! Ha noi, i am looking forward to meet you tomorrow, see why it is the political and cultural city of Vietnam... |
